TGSAT (GPS + Iridium Satellite Communication + Wireless communication)

TGSAT Collars

Collars are the most common attachment method for terrestrial species. General rule is that terrestrial animals of more than 5 kg can carry up to 3% of their own weight, the range increases to 5% for animals that weigh less than 5 kg.

TGSAT Backpacks

Backpacks are the most common attachment method for bird species, crocodiles and some terrestrial animals whose neck is larger than the head. General rule is that birds can carry up to 3% of their own weight. We can offer backpacks for round or flat ribbon, buckles or holes perpendicular or parallel to the body, and hold dimensions can be defined by the researcher.

TGSAT Glued

GPS models to be glued are usually only used on turtles or in cases where the researchers adds his own attachment method.

TGSAT Screwed

GPS models to be screwed are usually only used on turtles or assets, or in cases where the researchers adds their own attachment method.

TGSAT Buoys

GPS buoys are usually only used on manatees though they can be used on marine studies when the buoy can remain floating for at least one minute. We can add water sensor so the unit will only turn on when it comes out of the water.

TGSAT Other Options

We can customize your GPS units based on your specific needs.
